Professor Li Yuanyou of Oceanographic College participated in the Fifth National Symposium on Lipid Nutrition and Metabolism of Aquatic Animals

From August 28 to 29, 2019, the 5th National Symposium on Lipid Nutrition and Metabolism of Aquatic Animals, sponsored by the Professional Committee of Aquatic Animals Nutrition and Feed of China Aquatic Society and sponsored by Shanghai Ocean University, was successfully held in Shanghai. More than 70 scholars from more than 30 universities and research institutes in Australia, Norway and China attended the symposium.

Opening Speech by Professor Li Yuanyou

Through this meeting, Huanong Teachers not only showed some recent research results of the research group to the participants, but also gained more understanding of the research progress, new technologies and new methods in the field of lipid nutrition and metabolism of aquatic animals by their colleagues at home and abroad. They broadened their research horizons and ideas, and were of great importance in expanding our academic influence, promoting exchanges, cooperation and friendship with colleagues. It's important.

Xie Dizhi gave an academic report at the meeting

It is reported that the first symposium on lipid nutrition and metabolism of aquatic animals was initiated by Professor Li Yuanyou and successfully held in Shantou University in 2015. The conference does not collect conference fees, adopts the form of invitation to control the scale, small peer exchanges, adhering to the concept of interdisciplinary, focusing mechanism, win-win sharing, academic freedom, to build a platform for exchange, interaction and win-win cooperation for aquatic animal lipid nutrition researchers in China. Participants agreed that this kind of meeting had a good effect. Each organization had held the second, third and fourth sessions in East China Normal University, Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University and Haida University, respectively. The sixth session would be held in Nanjing Agricultural University in 2020.
